Unreal VR Bioreactor Showroom
Budget: £5,000 – £10,000 GBP
I’m looking for an Unreal Engine 5 expert who can create a polished virtual showroom—styled as a sleek, modern laboratory—where visitors wearing a Meta Quest headset can explore our benchtop bioreactors in detail.
We have full CAD and 3ds models of our products (3DS Max + VRAY)
Core scope
• Build the environment in UE5 using Nanite/Lumen for crisp visuals without compromising Quest performance.
• Enable close-up inspection: users must be able to walk around, zoom, and rotate the unit, then pick up removable components such as the bioreactors.
• Provide intuitive VR controls (hand tracking or controllers) with smooth locomotion and teleport options.
• Package the project for easy use on corporate managed Meta hardware and supply the full UE5 source so we can extend it later.
Nice-to-have (quote separately if it affects timeline)
– Virtual control panel that responds to dial/button inputs.
– Exploded-view toggle to reveal internal components.
Acceptance
1. Runs at a comfortable frame rate on Quest 3.
2. Visual fidelity matches our reference photos and CAD files.
3. Interaction feels natural and collision-free.
4. We receive: compiled build, source project, and concise setup/run documentation.
If this sounds like your specialty, please share a brief portfolio link to comparable VR work in Unreal and outline your estimated timeline for delivery.
There is a possibility of future work if the showroom resonates well with perspective customers.
