UE5 Lyra Multiplayer Expansion

Job ID: 39829195

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m extending Epic’s Lyra Starter Game and want a seasoned Unreal Engine 5 developer to help me push it from prototype to fully-featured experience. The new playable levels and bespoke hero meshes are already prepared; your job is to wire them in, tighten replication, and keep the codebase future-proof in clean C++ (Blueprints are fine for UI or quick logic when sensible).

What has to land:

• Map integration – import the new levels, configure their lighting / navigation, then register each one inside Lyra’s playlist system so they appear in matchmaking and custom lobbies without breaking existing flows.
• Character expansion – replace the mannequins with my supplied hero models, hook up their skeletons, retarget animations, and plug their abilities into the Gameplay Ability System so everything replicates correctly in network play.
• Multiplayer polish – maintain an authoritative server model, validate ability execution, and profile bandwidth so both co-op and versus modes remain smooth at typical player counts.

I value readable, modular C++ that follows Epic style conventions; I’ll be iterating on these systems after launch, so clarity is essential. Prior work on Lyra, ShooterGame, or any network-heavy UE5 title will put you at the front of the line.

If you can start soon, send a brief note with links or videos of comparable projects you’ve shipped, the tools you leaned on (GAS, Mass AI, Chaos, etc.), and an estimated timeline for the above milestones. I’m ready to green-light as soon as we find the right fit.
