Long-Term Unreal Engine FPS Partnership
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m building a cross-platform first-person shooter in Unreal Engine and I want to keep the same developer on board from prototype through post-launch support. The core work begins inside UE5: setting up gameplay systems, networking, and polished moment-to-moment gunplay. From there we’ll move into optimisation and input tuning so the experience feels equally sharp on PC, the latest consoles and high-end mobile devices.
I already have the initial GDD, basic art block-outs and a multiplayer test map. What I need next is someone who can jump straight into Blueprints and C++, iterate quickly, and commit clean, documented code to my Git repo. You’ll collaborate with my designer on balancing weapons and abilities, hook into backend services for matchmaking and analytics, and prepare builds for each target platform’s certification process.
Success for each milestone is simple:
• Fully playable vertical slice running at 60 fps on PC
• Controller and touch input schemes functioning on console and mobile test units
• No critical or repeatable crashes in a 30-minute soak test
If long-term co-development on a fast-paced FPS excites you, let’s talk details and timelines right away.
