Unreal Engine UI Developer for Dynamic Horror Game Objective System

Project Overview:

We’re developing a high-intensity, bodycam-style horror game in Unreal Engine 5. Players complete mission objectives such as fixing generators, collecting intel, and escaping while being hunted by a terrifying entity.

We’re looking for a skilled UI/Blueprint Developer to implement a dynamic, immersive objective tracking system that updates in real-time as the player progresses.
2. Automatic Objective Transitions
• When a player completes an objective (e.g., fixes a generator), the UI should update automatically and progress to the next one.
• Mark completed objectives with an and fade/grey them out.
3. Objective Tracker Logic
• System should handle multiple objectives in sequence.
• Objectives include:
• Fix Generator
• Collect Intel (show as 0/3, 1/3, etc.)
• Reach Extraction Point
• Must be flexible for future objectives (hostage rescue, open security doors, etc.).
4. Trigger/Actor Integration
• Use Blueprints or Actor triggers to fire objective events (e.g., finishing a task updates the UI).
• Integrate with interactable objects (e.g., generator, intel terminal).
5. Polished Horror-Themed Visuals
• Glitchy horror style (e.g., CRT flicker, screen static effect).
• Optional: screen flickers or glitch sounds when updating objectives.
