I want help with unity and udp and matlab

i need to get the data of the Oculus Rift s VR controllers and transfer them to matlab using the UDP connection that i've sent. The data that I need is the thumbstick's data of both controllers. After getting the data and transferring to matlab, as the data is in (x,y) form, i need to convert to angles. Right controller should give the value of phi angle which ranges between 0 to 360 degrees, and the left controller should give the value of theta angle which ranges between -90 to 90 degrees"i have the udp connections " but i dont lnow how to do it
