Vocabulary Learning Mobile Unity App Project
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Develop a mobile application in Unity to be ported to Android and iOS, with the goal of teaching English vocabulary to users. The app will display images representing words (objects, verbs, adverbs, etc.), along with the written word below and its pronunciation. Daily, users will have a new set of words to learn, in addition to practicing previously shown words through an already developed mini-game.
Project Components:
1. Word Display:
Show an image representing the word.
Display the written word below the image.
Play the pronunciation of the word for the user.
2. Word Management:
Present a new group of words daily according to the user's level.
Store and mark words as practiced.
Return old words for practice after a period of inactivity.
Limit the number of words for daily practice to avoid user fatigue.
3. Word Practice:
The mini-game is already developed and will not be part of the freelancer's tasks.
The freelancer should implement a routine to call a fake mini-game that trains a word. This fake mini-game will be replaced later by the correct mini-game without any action required from the freelancer.
4. User Progression:
Implement a leveling system where users automatically progress to higher levels as they learn each set of words.
Ensure that new sets of words are unlocked with each level progression.
5. Interface Development:
Create screens to display the words with their images, text, and pronunciation.
The interface does not need to be graphically final or aesthetically pleasing, just organized according to a provided draft. The graphical design of the project is not the freelancer's responsibility.
Interface for navigating between daily words and the history of practiced words.
6. Word Review Mechanism:
Implement a system that marks words as practiced.
Develop logic to return old words for practice after a period of inactivity.
Set a daily word limit for practice, adjustable as needed.
7. Notifications and Tracking:
Implement daily notifications to remind the user to access the app.
Develop a progress tracking system, showing words already learned and those that need review.
