Unity Port Crane Training Simulator
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m building a Unity-based retraining tool that lets our port operators step back into the cab of a container crane and practise every stage of the job in real time. The emphasis is pure simulation: realistic physics, working cockpit controls, on-screen safety indicators and dynamic port environments that mirror our day-to-day workflow. Operators should be able to start the crane, pick and place containers, manage twist-lock alignment, respond to unexpected weather or equipment faults, and complete an end-of-shift shutdown—all inside a single, seamless session that tracks their performance.
The simulator must cover:
• Container cranes only (no bulk or gantry variants).
• Complete training flow with real-time scenarios rather than basic demos or isolated troubleshooting panels.
To keep the project self-contained and easy for us to roll out to multiple training rooms, I’ll need:
• A standalone desktop build plus the full Unity project.
• Clean, commented C# code and prefabs so my in-house team can extend scenarios later.
• A lightweight instructor dashboard that logs operator actions and lets us trigger scripted events (e.g., sudden gusts or spreader alarms).
• A short user guide explaining scene hierarchy, key scripts and how to add new scenarios.
If you have prior work with heavy-equipment or crane simulators, that insight will speed things up, but clear code and a realistic feel are what matter most.
