Unity VR Park Recreation

Job ID: 40117313

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I need a faithful digital twin of an existing park built in Unity 3D and fully optimised for VR headsets. The scene should sit at a medium level of detail: enough realism to feel alive without pushing performance beyond what current consumer head-mounted displays can handle.

Key environment elements to include
• Realistic trees and shrubs blended with dense grass and well-kept lawns.
• A central lake that winds through the grounds, visible from multiple paths.
• A full-scale stadium, adjacent food-court area and nearby parking lot.
• Smaller volleyball courts, scattered benches and the usual street furniture.

Interactive movement
Players must be able to explore with both locomotion styles—smooth walking/gliding as well as point-and-click teleportation—selectable at runtime so users can switch to their comfort preference.

Performance expectations
Target a stable 72–90 FPS on Meta Quest-class hardware (or equivalent PC VR) through efficient LODs, baked lighting where possible and aggressive draw-call batching. Please profile frequently with the Unity Profiler and Oculus/SteamVR tools; the final build should feel fluid even during lake-view vistas.

Deliverables
1. Complete Unity project folder (2020 LTS or later) with clean hierarchy and commented scripts.
2. VR-ready build and install guide.
3. Short video capture inside the headset demonstrating both navigation modes and a walking tour of every landmark.

I will supply reference photos, rough CAD data and the park’s official map once we start. Let me know if additional asset libraries or custom shaders are required so we can agree on them in advance.
