Unity Developer for Sports Simulators
Budget: £5 – £10 GBP
Description:
We are looking for a talented Unity Game Developer who can develop and teach sports-based simulator games designed specifically for large-screen projection (approx. 4-meter projector setup). Our goal is to build a series of realistic sports simulators, including but not limited to:
Football (Soccer)
Cricket
Tennis
Golf
Darts
Other sports simulator experiences
Responsibilities:
Develop highly realistic sports simulator games in Unity, optimized for large-scale projection systems.
Implement accurate physics-based gameplay mechanics (e.g., ball trajectory, swing mechanics, scoring).
Ensure smooth, immersive experiences tailored for projector-based simulators, not mobile or desktop.
Teach and mentor our team in Unity development for simulator use cases.
Provide structured documentation and maintain clean, optimized code.
Requirements:
Proven experience with Unity game development (portfolio of relevant projects is required).
Strong knowledge of C# programming.
Experience in physics and sports mechanics (ball dynamics, swing detection, collisions).
Ability to optimize visuals and performance for large-format displays/projectors.
Good communication skills and ability to train/teach others.
Preferred Skills (Bonus):
Experience integrating simulators with tracking hardware, sensors, or motion input devices.
Knowledge of 3D modeling/animation tools (Blender, Maya, etc.).
Familiarity with creating immersive sports environments.
