Unity VR Construction Safety Training Simulation
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
Work description
We are seeking a Unity developer to create a VR safety training simulation for a construction site (two-storey residential building). The project involves developing a VR environment where trainees can navigate the site and identify safety hazards (No Interaction and Animation). The simulation should be task-based, guiding users through critical safety procedures with a simple and intuitive user interface.
Deliverables
1. Develop a realistic VR environment representing a two-storey residential construction site with a roofing and scaffold system (reference images are attached).
2. Simulate falling and electrical hazards, including approximately seven to eight falling hazards and three to four electrical hazards. (hazards examples are attached as references)
3. Implement task-based training with interactive props and UI instructions, where users identify and tag simulated hazard objects on the first or second floor, as well as in the roofing and scaffold areas and get score by the end of the task (how many hazards are tagged correctly).
4. Ensure smooth VR performance optimized for HTC Vive and SteamVR.
5. Provide a clean, well-organized Unity project folder containing all assets and materials used in the virtual environment for future expansion or modification.
