Third-Person Bike Racing Game ( Like BikeWorld Roblox )
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I want to build a playable third-person bike game set in a sprawling, modern urban city. The focus is speed and precision: racers weave through traffic, hit checkpoints, and compete in time-trial events that track global leaderboards.
Reference: BikeWorld on Roblox
Core features I need:
• A sizable open-world city map with recognizable districts, shortcuts, and traffic AI.
• Tight bike handling tuned for arcade-style racing.
• A crate/loot system that drops collectible parts after each event. Riders can swap frames, wheels, engines, and cosmetics in a garage menu, with visible performance changes.
• Race and time-trial modes with countdown starts, lap timers, ghost replays, and tiered medals.
• A simple UI/HUD showing speed, split times, minimap, and part rarity when crates pop.
• PC build first; clean codebase so additional platforms can be added later.
I’m aiming for a functional prototype that proves the core loop: ride → race → earn crate → upgrade → race again. Grayboxed city blocks are fine for the first milestone, but the systems above need to be in place and documented so we can iterate on visuals afterward.
Preferred engine: Unity (2022 LTS or newer) or Unreal 5—use whatever you’re fastest with, but make sure the project is well-organized and version-control friendly.
Show me samples of previous vehicle or open-world work, outline your high-level approach, and estimate the timeline for:
1. Graybox city + basic bike controller
2. Crate drops and parts customization
3. Polish pass on UI, AI traffic, and performance
I’ll provide brand assets and any additional reference once we agree on the plan. Looking forward to seeing how you’d push urban bike racing to the next level.
