Story-Driven Steam Game Development
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
We are developing a narrative-first anime-style PC game for Steam, combining drama, action, and slice-of-life storytelling into a deeply choice-driven experience. The game will center on memorable characters, emotional tension, and player agency, allowing choices to shape relationships, alter key events, and lead to multiple endings. The tone should balance intimate everyday moments with dramatic confrontations and action-driven sequences, creating a story that feels personal, dynamic, and replayable.
Core requirements include:
Branching storyline with multiple endings
Relationship systems that evolve through player choices
Decision-driven event outcomes with lasting consequences
The full development scope covers writing and implementing branching narrative content, integrating scenes and gameplay systems, building save/load functionality for persistent decision tracking, and preparing a polished Windows build for Steam release. The project may be built in Unity or Unreal Engine, or another suitable toolchain capable of producing a stable Windows release.
Development will begin with a compact design document to define the game’s themes, plot arcs, characters, and major choice points. Milestones will then move through prototype development, systems integration, content implementation, and final release polish.
The completed handoff will include a Steam-ready build, complete source project, and all art/audio/narrative assets, enabling future internal updates and content expansion.
