I want to create a playful, story-driven game that helps children aged six to eight strengthen their reading and writing skills. Every interaction should feel like part of an adventure—think short narrative chapters, vocabulary mini-challenges, and creative spelling quests that reward progress with badges or unlockable story paths.
My priority is educational value, so the mechanics must align with early-elementary literacy goals: sight-word recognition, basic sentence structure, and comprehension questions woven naturally into the gameplay. The tone needs to stay light, colourful, and encouraging; no dense text blocks or test-like screens.
I’m open to your preferred engine—Unity, Godot, HTML5/Canvas, or a similarly accessible platform—as long as the finished build runs smoothly on tablets and low-end laptops without installation headaches.
Deliverables:
• A brief concept & flow document for sign-off
• Playable prototype demonstrating one full learning loop
• Final polished game with source code, art, audio, and localisation strings separated for easy updates
• Simple parent/teacher guide and progress-tracking export (CSV or JSON)
