Prototype Card Grid PC Game Unity 3D

Job ID: 39854739

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need a working prototype of a small, turn-based card game that runs on PC. The playfield is a square grid; when a player clicks a card, the corresponding low-poly 3D model appears on the selected tile. I only require between one and five test cards for now, just enough to prove the mechanic.

All visuals and UI elements can come from free sample packs or the Unity Asset Store’s free section—no custom art is expected. What matters is that the grid, cards, and summoned models are functional and easy to expand later.

Core features I expect:
• Grid-based board that recognises occupied and free tiles
• Click-to-play card system with a simple hand UI
• Turn controller that locks input until the other side finishes
• Low-poly placeholder units spawning and despawning correctly

If the overall cost allows, I’d also like a minimal start menu (New Game, Quit) and an in-game text chat panel to test multiplayer messaging, but these can be separate milestones.

Hand-off criteria: a Unity project (or another PC-ready engine if you prefer) that I can open, press Play, and cycle through turns with fully working card placement. Clean, commented code is important because I’ll be extending the project myself later. Only bid the price you will do it for.
