Isometric Adventure Game Development -- 2

Job ID: 40556876

Budget: $8 – $15 USD

I’m preparing an isometric adventure video game built around a steady stream of engaging missions. The core idea is simple: players explore a richly detailed world, take on story-driven objectives, and unlock new areas as they progress. What I need from you is a working prototype that lets me judge whether the moment-to-moment play feels fun and navigable from the isometric angle.

Gameplay scope
• One explorable zone that shows off verticality, obstacles, and interactive objects
• A mission chain of at least three objectives (collect, escort, boss fight, or similar) to prove the quest system works
• Basic combat or interaction loop appropriate for an adventure game (think dodge, light attack, puzzle lever, etc.)
• Keyboard-mouse controls mapped intuitively for PC; touch controls are a plus but not essential at this stage

Under the hood
• Engine choice is yours—Unity or Godot are both fine, as long as you supply the project files and clear build instructions.
• Clean, commented code so additional content can be layered in later without a rewrite.
• Placeholder art is acceptable; what matters now is gameplay feel and camera logic that never loses the player or critical objects.

Deliverables
1. Playable Windows build (.exe) plus source project folder
2. Short video (60–90 sec) showing a full mission run-through
3. Read-me outlining scene hierarchy, input settings, and how to add new missions

Once the prototype clears those points I’ll move on to a fuller production schedule, so think of this as the foundation for a longer collaboration. Let me know your preferred engine, any middleware you plan to integrate, and an estimated timeline for the first playable.
