GTA-Style Open World Game

Job ID: 40562193

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

I’m setting aside about $10 000 to develop an open-world action game inspired by GTA V. The core of the brief is a living, freely explorable city that lets players switch at will between first- and third-person perspectives; open-world exploration must feel seamless and rewarding.

Scope of work
• Build or adapt a game engine framework that handles streaming world sections, physics, AI traffic/NPCs, and mission triggers without noticeable loading screens.
• Create a prototype city block first, then expand to a full map as milestones are cleared.
• Implement both camera modes so animations, controls, and UI stay consistent when the player swaps views.
• Deliver a basic mission chain and a handful of side activities to showcase exploration, traversal, and interaction.

Milestones & deliverables
1. Technical design document and project setup.
2. Vertical slice with one explorable district, dual-perspective character controller, and save/load.
3. World expansion tools, iterative city growth, and optimisation pass for stable frame-rate.
4. Final build + complete source, assets, and brief modding hooks.

Please include in your proposal the engine or tools you plan to use (Unity, Unreal Engine, or another solution you can justify), a high-level timeline, and how you would allocate the budget across the milestones above. I’ll review portfolios that already feature open-world or large-scale level work first, then schedule a call to finalise specifics and kick the project off.
