First-Person Psychological Horror Game

Job ID: 40243192

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I want to build a tightly focused first-person psychological horror title that lives or dies on its narrative. The player’s fear should come from atmosphere, subtle audio cues, and story revelations—not endless jump-scares or heavy combat.

To achieve that, the project needs:
• A convincing first-person controller tuned for slow, tense exploration.
• A narrative-driven structure with interactive story beats and at least one significant player choice that changes subsequent events.
• Environmental storytelling that steadily raises dread through lighting, sound design, and pacing.

I’m comfortable if you work in Unreal Engine or Unity; just keep the project files clean and well-documented so I can iterate on level layout and dialogue later. For a first milestone, I’d like a playable vertical slice (around 10–15 minutes) showcasing the core loop: exploration, narrative events, and an escalating sense of unease.

Deliverables for that slice:
1. Playable build for Windows.
2. Source project with scripts, prefabs/blueprints, audio placeholders, and a short read-me explaining setup.

If you specialise in narrative-heavy horror and know how to keep players on edge without cheap tricks, let’s talk timing and milestones.
