Co-Dev For Family Friendly PC Games

Job ID: 40241002

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I have a slate of family-friendly PC titles sketched out—everything from an educational adventure to a cozy RPG with light, Goosebumps-style horror. My design docs are already organised (with a little help from ChatGPT), but I now need a game-engine specialist who can turn these scripts and flowcharts into fully-playable experiences.

Engine flexibility
I’m completely open to Unity, Unreal, Godot or any other engine that suits a PC-first release, so feel free to recommend the tech stack you work fastest in.

Key gameplay pillars
• Educational elements
• Adventure gameplay
• Horror-themed activities
• RPG mechanics in select titles

What I’m looking for
– Someone comfortable collaborating with a non-coder designer.
– Zero AI-generated content inside the games themselves (art, code, audio, etc.).
– A strong focus on accessibility so every gamer, including players with disabilities, can enjoy the titles.
– A long-term teammate mindset; I’d like to structure payment as revenue share—each sale sends you an agreed-upon percentage until the project cost is met, or we can lock in a permanent royalty if you prefer to stay on as co-creator.

Scope right now
We’ll start by building a small vertical slice for the first game so we can test mechanics, art style and accessibility options on PC. After that, we’ll roll those lessons into full production and move through the rest of the catalogue together.

If you’re passionate about crafting wholesome, inclusive games and are happy with a revenue-share arrangement, let’s talk specifics and put our first prototype on the roadmap.
