Mixed Reality (MR) Experience Development for Commercial Venue

I am looking for an experienced Unity / XR development team to develop a Mixed Reality experience for a physical venue in Norway.

The project is based around transforming an existing indoor location into an immersive digital environment using Meta Quest 3 or similar MR headsets.

Physical Location

I have access to a large second-floor venue that can be adapted for a location-based mixed reality experience.

The available space consists of existing rooms and open areas that can be used as the physical environment for the experience.

The goal is to use the real location as part of the digital experience.

The developer will receive:

- Floor plans (if available)
- Measurements
- Photos
- Video walkthroughs
- Room layout information

The digital experience should be aligned with the real physical space.

Project Goal

I want to create a Mixed Reality experience where users can walk through the real environment while seeing digital elements integrated into the physical space.

The concept is not a traditional VR game where the user is placed in a completely virtual world.

The goal is:

- Real rooms remain visible through passthrough
- Digital objects appear inside the real environment
- Virtual characters/effects are positioned in specific locations
- The physical venue becomes part of the story and gameplay

Example elements:

- Virtual objects placed on real surfaces
- Digital characters appearing in the room
- Interactive objects attached to physical locations
- Environmental effects
- Story-driven experiences

The system should be developed for:

Multiplayer Requirements

The experience should support multiple users in the same physical space.

Requirements:

- 4–8 players
- All users see the same digital objects in the same physical locations
- Shared game state
- Multiplayer interaction

Example:

If one player activates an object, all other players should see the result.

Room Integration

The developer must be able to integrate the software with a real physical location.

The process would involve:

1. Creating a digital representation of the rooms.
2. Defining physical locations using spatial anchors.
3. Placing digital objects and interactions inside the real environment.
4. Testing and adjusting the experience inside the actual venue.

Initial Development Goal

The first stage is to create a prototype in a limited part of the venue.

The prototype should demonstrate:
