unity developer to create build for playstore publish

We have existing application which uses Google's ARCore technology along with backend server. Earlier a developer was working on this but now he is not available. So we need to resume development for this.
Another question is if I share a git repo for this project , are you able to create a signed build which can be uploaded on google playstore ?
