Need basic games structured to exploit the functions of the human body such as the legs and hands by making it move in all directions as to aid physical therapy of said body parts.
The game should be customised as per the sensitivity and flexibility of the hand as well as the ankle. For example, in the game for hand rehabilitation, the hand position and function should be sensed using a sensor (leap motion) placed on top of the table and as the user carries out different tasks put forward to the them in the game, the users hand should be seen and replicated with great sensitivity to show real world movements of the hand. It should be able to assess the angle of bend of each finger as well as the hand joint.
The game for ankle rehab should be carried out similarly but much more effectively as the users are mostly patients for physical therapy, like stroke, etc. The device used for carrying out the tasks for the lower limbs would be a balance board with a phone in the middle that tracks and senses the motions of the user. For ex, M-Pad.
The game should be created mostly for function and motivation than fun so keep it simple as most patients might find it difficult to understand the task at hand.
