Quick optimisation testing in Unity3d
Budget: $25 – $80 USD
I am currently developing and testing terrain creation using satellite imagery for my specific Unity game - a vehicle driving simulator for mobile.
I've already created the terrain (with no props on it) and I want to test if it is feasible in any way, so I can decide wether continue it or switch the targeted platform.
What I need on this task:
- as much optimisation advice as possible, so I can go in the right direction and be easier on a later stage,
- see if the texture memory problem (caused by satellite imagery of course) can be solved,
- implement World Streamer 2 (an asset targeted to stream large counts of terrains) and see if it has potential to solve the problem
- test w/ Unity profiler & do a build and test on Android
What skills I need:
- strong Unity knowledge;
- optimisation experience.
IMPORTANT: Please show some knowledge before seeking the job, I specifically don't want only "yes I can do the job, create the milestone", then trying to learn to do it on my project.
Also IMPORTANT: This is a few hours task, but I am also looking for future long term partners in this project. There will be couple of thousands dollars worth of jobs on this project.
