VR MR Project
Budget: $12 – $30 SGD
I am thriving to produce a VR MR project that provides a unique learning experience to university students, specifically in the field of science and technology. This tailored education tool should be engaging, immersive, and inspiring while solidifying complex academic concepts.
This project is for a university final project.
The key requirements for this project include:
Platform : Oculus Quest 2
Due Date: January 2 2024
1. The application consists of three scenes.
2. First Scene (Main Scene) with three buttons. (Like a main menu. button when interact bring user to another scene) the three buttons in the main menu are :-
- VR Scene button (go to scene 1)
- MR Scene button (go to scene 2)
- Quit button
3. VR Scene: You may use the environment of a classroom. (This is scene 1)
It includes:
a. A table with four items on it, preferably something simple like four types of sports item
(such as badminton racket, tennis racket, golf club and baseball bat) p/s can be anything
but just something simple :D
b. The teleportation function (moving around) using the controller.
c. Activated spotlight (when interact with the object, spotlight turns on, lighting the objects.
d. Information of the targeted object is displayed based on collision near the object or with
the action of a button clicked.
e. The objects on the table may be animated with something simple like moving left to right
or spinning after interacting with the information button (d.)
4. MR Scene: Remove the surrounding environment: the classroom wall and ceiling. (this is
scene 2)
It includes:
a. No teleportation with controller is required.
b. Information of the targeted object is displayed based on collision or with button clicked.
(same with description above, (d.))
c. Button to animate the animation (e.)
d. Button to open/launch VR Scene.
The ideal freelancer would be someone with a great deal of experience in VR MR technology, at the university level. A passion for merging education and technology is a must.
