Development of a Casual Game Platform Template in Unity for Android
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am seeking an experienced Unity developer for Android, specializing in the creation of a template for a casual game platform in Unity. This project does not include the development of individual games, but rather the foundational structure to support the integration and management of these games.
Template Features:
Experience Management (XP): The template must be capable of tracking and storing user XP, which increases as they play various casual games. It should include an accessible function for any integrated game to update the user's XP.
Game Integration: Preparation for loading games via Load Scene, with each game having its own scene. The template and the main scene should be designed to facilitate access both upon returning from a game and at the start of the application.
Progression and Game Unlocking: Users level up by earning XP. With each set level increment, new games are unlocked, presented as floors of a tower, each containing new games.
Level-Up Animation and Pop-Up: When the player reaches a new XP level, a pop-up should appear, displaying an animation of leveling up, followed by another animation (which will later be the animation of the tower's elevator reaching a new floor). After the animation, the pop-up should display the newly available games, allowing the user to click on any game icon to access them. There should also be an option to close the pop-up in case the user prefers to stay in the current game.
Google Play Services Integration: Incorporation of Google Play Services rankings for each game and support for time-limited events, which provide access to games that may not yet be unlocked for the user. Also, the user should have the option to save their progress via Google Play Services by logging in with their Google account. If they choose not to log in, progress will be saved locally on the device, with the risk of losing unlocked game data if the app is uninstalled.
Countdown Timer and Time-Limited Events: An interface to show the remaining time in events, with a seconds countdown.
Loot Box System: Implementation of a Loot Box system, with rules for opening, wait times, and in-game purchase options to accelerate. Limitations on the number of boxes that can be accumulated and opened simultaneously.
Monetization and Diamonds: Implementation of a virtual currency system (diamonds) for speeding up box openings or purchasing additional spaces for accumulation.
Required Skills and Experience:
Solid experience in Unity development for Android.
Ability to implement complex progression systems and integration of multiple games.
Knowledge in integrating with Google Play Services and in-game monetization systems.
Capability to work with provided design assets and adapt them as needed.
