Add features to an existing Unity3D game

Job ID: 36173846

Budget: £1,500 – £3,000 GBP

The University of Bristol is developing a factory line game for students. The current game can be found at www.leangame.managment. Please take a look at the website to better understand the current game. For this project we will need 3 games. One with the ‘Supply feature’, one with the ‘Demand feature’, and one with both the ‘Supply feature’ and the ‘demand feature’.
I need an experienced Unity3D software developer to add the following features to the current game:
- Supply feature: Add an extra storage and conveyor belt beside Storage 1 (and an extra doorway). Add a truck animation that delivers products to the extra storage. The storage will then feed products into WorkCenter1 when it is not working. The truck needs to deliver products to the extra storage when the number of items in the extra storage is about to run out. Add an ‘Order Number’ variable that players can change. The order number will determine the number of products the truck delivers. Delivery will incur an in-game change based on the number of delivered products.
- Demand feature: The game currently credits the players for as many produced items. However, in the real world, a company’s revenues are limited by market demand. Thus, we want to have a limit on the maximum number of products that can be sold. I need a cumulative market demand for each in-game day. At the end of each in-game day I need an animation of a truck to collect the items. The number of items the truck collects will limit the cumulative market demand. I will provide an exact daily demand number at a later date.
- Combining the games: This is exactly what it sounds like. I need a game that combines the above 2 features.
- Export feature: Each game will need a ‘log’. In the Log, I need information on past player performance and export to CSV file option. The log and export information includes Score, Revenue, items, salary, storage, and average speed for each WorkCenter.
- Optimisation: I need the game to perform almost identically on each device. This means the average score for a particular set of variables must be the same for medium and high-end devices. This is really important! The current game produces different average scores based on the quality of the device used.
- Animation feature: Currently, all the staff and forklift animations are set to loop infinitely. Instead, I need staff to move only when each WorkCenter is working on a product and the forklift to move only when the truck arrives to pick up the items.
