figma website designer UI/UX
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
**DO NOT CALL**
We are seeking a very talented, detail-oriented designer with strong UI/UX expertise to help us refine and elevate the design of our new matchmaking website:
https://staging.matchedbydesign.com
This project is for a niche relationship-focused brand, and we want the design to feel sophisticated, modern, and emotionally engaging — with excellent visual hierarchy and a seamless user experience.
About the Project
• The site is being built in WordPress/Elementor, but for this stage, we’re focusing only on design in Figma.
• Our staging site is just a preliminary, basic design so we can place our content. We welcome new creative directions that improve usability, visual flow, and overall appeal.
• We currently have a homepage to start with, followed by a set of subpages (see the main menu on the staging site).
Note: Subpages under “Insights” and “Dating by Age” will each require one master design template — subsequent pages will reuse that layout with unique content.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a designer who is:
• Proactive and creative — confident in suggesting new ideas for layout and structure.
• Focused on UX best practices — understanding how to balance aesthetics with clarity and conversion.
• Detail-oriented — designs should feel premium, modern, and thoughtful in spacing, typography, and hierarchy.
Your role will include:
• Redesigning the homepage in Figma (first priority).
• Providing UX/UI critique on our current staging site and reference site.
• Suggesting new layout options and visual structure — not just redesigning existing sections as-is.
• Offering professional feedback on both sites’ design, structure, and overall UX quality (modernity, hierarchy, and visual polish).
Deliverables
• Homepage redesign in Figma (desktop + mobile versions)
• Master design template for key subpages
• Organized, editable Figma file ready for development handoff
• Written UX/UI feedback on design improvements
What to Include in Your Proposal
Please share:
1. Your initial impressions of our staging site and reference site — what stands out, what could be improved, and your general design critique.
2. Your estimated cost and timeline for the homepage and subpage design phase.
3. Examples of Figma designs that demonstrate both strong visual creativity and UX understanding.
4. We are receiving sample/demo designs of a Hero and 1-3 content sec tions from other designers so we can get a good feel for each designer's creative mindset and designs.
