UI/UX Web Designer for African Economic Platform

Project Title: Web Designer / UI-UX Developer Needed for Research & Advocacy Platform (Bidding Stage)
Project Overview:
I am preparing a proposal for an international foundation supporting an African economic research initiative. The project involves the enhancement and technical development of an existing research-based website focused on African economic and monetary sovereignty.
***Important: The project is currently in the bidding stage and has not yet been awarded. Collaboration will proceed only if the proposal is successful.
Scope of Work (if awarded):
Visual & brand identity enhancement (modern, African-inspired design)
UI/UX improvement and typography optimization
Development of new thematic sections (economy, history, culture, etc.)
Integration of interactive tools (timelines, resource library, multimedia sections)
Blog platform, event calendar, newsletter integration
Ongoing technical support and maintenance
Project Duration:
Approximately 6 months (with possible extension).
Requirements:
Proven experience in UI/UX and web development
Strong portfolio of research, advocacy, or content-driven platforms
Experience integrating multimedia and interactive features
Ability to work on structured, deadline-driven projects
Interest or familiarity with African or Global South perspectives is a plus
