Project Description:

Hi there! We're Blynk Telco, a new Australian start-up, preparing to launch our internet and mobile services. We're seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Web Designer to help us build our brand's first website from the ground up, as well as all future design work as we grow.

We have a detailed creative brief (attached) that outlines our vision. We're all about a "fun purple theme," using our company mascot, and creating a modern, user-friendly platform that makes telecom simple and approachable. This is a key project for us, and you'll be designing the core digital experience for our customers, including our main website, customer sign-up pages, a self-service portal, and an internal admin panel.

About You:

You're a designer with a portfolio of clean, modern, mobile-first web designs. You have a knack for creating user journeys that are simple and intuitive, and you're comfortable designing everything from marketing pages to detailed forms and dashboards. You know how to bring a playful brand to life while ensuring the user experience feels professional and trustworthy.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Based on the attached creative brief, you will be responsible for creating high-fidelity mockups and a complete design system for the following:

Core Website & Marketing Pages: Including a homepage that showcases our unique local technician support model and an interactive map to find local support stores.

Customer Sign-Up Flows: For our NBN, Mobile Voice, and Mobile Broadband products, including features like a Static IP add-on with a benefits pop-up.

Business/SME Sign-Up Flow: A dedicated sign-up path for our business customers.

Customer Portal: A secure dashboard for customers to manage their accounts, view invoices, add/remove services, and submit support tickets.

Internal CMS/Admin Panel UI: A functional interface for our staff to manage plans, update website content, and view customer notes.

UI States & Micro-interactions: Designs for all necessary states (loading, success, error, etc.).

Transactional Email Templates: Branded email designs for things like sign-up confirmations.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive, mobile-first web application designs.

Expertise in designing intuitive user flows, especially for multi-step forms and customer portals.

Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

A strong understanding of modern design aesthetics, with experience creating clean, Apple-inspired UI elements.

Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) is a plus.

Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Key Deliverables & Documentation:

We believe in a thorough and professional handover. The final deliverables for this project must include:

High-Fidelity Mockups: A complete set of designs for every page, user flow, and component state (e.g., loading, error, success) for mobile, tablet, and desktop views.

Interactive Prototype: A clickable prototype (e.g., in Figma, Adobe XD) that allows us to test the complete user journey from start to finish.

Comprehensive Style Guide / Design System: The single source of truth for our website's visual identity, including:

Typography: All font styles, sizes, and weights.

Color Palette: Exact hex codes for all brand and UI colors.

Component Library: Designs for all reusable elements (buttons, forms, modals) in all their states.

Iconography & Spacing: The full icon set and the rules for layout and spacing.

Final Asset Library: A well-organised folder containing all web-optimised assets (logos, mascot images, icons, etc.) ready for the developer to implement.
