Vibrant Smart Home App UI/UX Design
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Home Essentials App (4 Onboarding Screens)
Project Overview
I am seeking a creative UI/UX designer to craft four high-impact onboarding screens for a new home essentials and smart appliances app. The app is designed for both iOS and Android, aiming to redefine how users interact with their living spaces through technology and style.
The Creative Vision
I want to move away from the typical "minimalist/pale" look of home apps. The direction is bold, colorful, and vibrant. Think of a "pop of color" in a modern home—use fresh gradients, energetic compositions, and movement to make home management feel exciting rather than like a chore. The brand personality is lively, upbeat, and modern.
Scope of Work
Design 4 Unique Screens: Fully compliant with Apple Human Interface and Google Material Design guidelines.
Onboarding Flow: I am looking for a mix of high-quality illustrations or lifestyle imagery blended with sleek UI elements that guide the user through the app’s value.
Source Files: Delivery of organized, layered source files (Figma preferred) with export-ready PNG/SVG assets in @1x, @2x, and @3x.
UX Copywriting: Provide concise, engaging copy suggestions for each screen that match the upbeat tone.
Consistency: Maintain a unified visual language across typography, iconography, and color palettes.
The Problem to Solve
Shopping for or managing home essentials is often perceived as a boring, functional task. The challenge is to transform this "utility" experience into an inspiring lifestyle journey. The onboarding must instantly make the user feel that managing their home will be easier, more colorful, and smarter.
Deliverables & Acceptance
A developer-ready hand-off file with all components clearly labeled. Success is marked by a design that can be seamlessly implemented by developers without the need for structural rework.
A quick question for you:
"To anchor the 'vibrant' theme, do you have a preferred primary color in mind—perhaps a Zesty Lemon, Coral Pink, or a Deep Teal—to represent the modern home, or should I propose a palette myself?"
