Vibrant Chat UI Redesign

I’m refreshing our in-app chat and need a UI designer who can turn the current plain layout into a colorful, energetic experience that still feels clean and intuitive. The scope covers the full chat window, the expandable user-profile section, and the message input area.
The new design should celebrate color—think rich palettes, playful accents, and micro-interactions that make the interface feel alive—yet remain accessible and visually balanced across desktop and mobile breakpoints.
Core enhancements
• Emoji support: visually consistent emoji picker, clear reaction display, and smart placement that doesn’t crowd the message stream.
• File sharing: drag-and-drop cues, progress feedback, and thumbnail previews baked seamlessly into the chat flow.
• Typing indicators: fluid, eye-catching animations that convey activity without becoming distracting.
Deliverables
• High-fidelity mock-ups and an interactive prototype (Figma or Sketch) covering default, active, and edge-case states.
• A component library with color tokens, typography, and reusable assets for hand-off to development.
• Brief style guide explaining usage rules so the dev team can maintain consistency.
