Job Description:
We are seeking a world-class UI/UX Architect and Designer to advise us on a drastic UX overhaul of our platform, Breez. Breez is a cloud-native, no-code automation solution that handles complex testing for web, mobile, and legacy systems (AS/400).
While our technical foundation is robust, our current interface follows a traditional, form-driven hierarchical model. We want to leapfrog current market leaders like Watermelon by transitioning to a journey-centric, "agentic" user experience.
The Vision:
Move Breez from a form based configuration tool to an intuitive "Infinite Canvas" workspace where users build automation through intent and flow, rather than forms and XPaths.
Key Objectives:
1. Journey Creation: Advise on replacing linear step-lists with a visual, node-based journey canvas.
2. Cognitive Ease: Simplify complex object mapping and sequence management.
3. Context-Sensitive Help: Design a "Telepathic UX" that provides AI-driven snippets and assistance based on the user's active screen (e.g., legacy green-screens vs. modern SPAs).
4. High-Performance Execution UI: Design an interactive "Time-Travel" debugging timeline for execution reports.
Technical Constraints:
• Framework: The implementation will be in Angular 20. Knowledge of Signals-first reactivity and Zoneless change detection is mandatory to ensure the UI remains performant with 500+ node canvases.
• Libraries: Familiarity with node-based UI libraries such as Foblex Flow or Rete.js is highly preferred.
Required Expertise:
• Proven track record in designing complex B2B SaaS workspaces or workflow builders.
• Expertise in reducing "Interaction Cost" and promoting "Flow State" in technical applications.
• Ability to bridge the gap between Business Analyst (non-technical) and SRE (technical) personas.
Quick Proof of Concept (PoC) Task for Applicants:
We will share a short video walkthrough and screenshots of the current Breez interface. To be considered, you must provide a brief audit identifying 3 to 5 specific areas of improvement.
Your audit must include:
• The Problem: Pinpoint exactly where the UX creates friction (e.g., "The sequence number reordering logic").
• The UX Reason: Explain why this is a challenge based on cognitive load or interaction cost (e.g., "Forces recognition over recall" or "High interaction cost for reordering large suites").
• The Drastic Suggestion: Propose a modern 2026-standard alternative (e.g., "Transition to an auto-layouted timeline using Signals to handle drag-events without lag").
