Revamp EdTech UI/UX – Figma Expert Needed

Job ID: 40177720

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

Description
Job Title: Senior UI/UX Designer (Figma Expert) – Child-Centric EdTech

About the Project
We are an educational technology platform helping students in Grades 4–7 master complex subjects like Math, English, and Verbal/Non-Verbal Reasoning. Our goal is to transform the stress of exam prep into an engaging, gamified journey. We are looking for a creative UI/UX expert to completely revamp our interface, moving away from rigid academic layouts to a "nimble," colorful, and highly interactive experience that keeps young learners motivated.

The Challenge
Our current interface functions well but lacks the visual spark needed to hold the attention of 9–12-year-olds. We need a designer who understands design for children—balancing vibrant aesthetics with clear usability to reduce cognitive load during study sessions.

Key Responsibilities
Revamp Core Interfaces: Redesign key pages to be visually stunning and intuitive, including:

Student Dashboard: A gamified "home base" where students can track progress at a glance.

Worksheet Interface: A clean, distraction-free, yet engaging layout for taking tests.

Challenge Zone: A high-energy section for competitive or gamified practice.

Exam History & Analytics: Visualizing data in a way that is encouraging for students and informative for parents.

Design System: Create a "nimble" design system in Figma (colors, typography, playful iconography, and buttons) that appeals to children without feeling "babyish."

UX Enhancements: Improve navigation flow to ensure students can independently find worksheets and review past performance without friction.

Gamification Elements: Design UI assets for badges, streaks, progress bars, and rewards to boost engagement.

Requirements
Portfolio: Must demonstrate experience designing for children (EdTech, gaming, or entertainment). We want to see playful, colorful, and accessible designs.

Tools: Mastery of Figma (Auto-layout, components, prototyping).

UX Skills: Strong understanding of user flows and accessibility standards for young audiences.

Visual Style: Ability to execute a "colorful and highly engaging" aesthetic—moving beyond standard corporate Material Design or Bootstrap templates.

Bonus: Experience with dashboards or data visualization for non-technical users (students/parents).

Deliverables
High-fidelity mockups for the Student Dashboard, Worksheet View, Challenge Zone, and Exam History.

Interactive Figma prototype demonstrating the user journey.

A UI Kit/Style Guide (typography, color palette, component library).

How to Apply
Please send your portfolio (specifically highlighting any child-focused or gamified projects) and a brief note on how you would approach designing a "stress-free" exam prep interface for a 10-year-old.
