Phase 1 focuses entirely on polished, modern UI/UX (clean aesthetics, intuitive flow, responsive mobile/iPad) with mocked backend data. Later phases will add real RAG/AI and e-commerce.
The goal is a beautiful, scholarly-feeling dashboard that encourages exploration, reading, and note-taking. It must feel professional, minimal, and engaging — worthy of a legacy archive.
MVP Phase 1 Requirements: UI & User Experience Only
Modern, minimalist design: clean typography, neutral colors (grays/whites/soft blues), subtle shadows, logical spacing, calm scholarly atmosphere (high readability, minimal distractions).
Responsive 3-panel dashboard (desktop/iPad/mobile):
- Top panel: Chat input for AI queries (collapsible/expandable).
- Middle panel: PDF/article viewer with clickable hyperlinks that jump instantly to exact pages/sections (smooth scroll/highlight).
- Bottom panel: Expandable AI journal (notes/reflections area).
Sidebar navigation:
- Library (searchable index of all PDFs/articles outside AI chat).
- Bookmarks (saved articles/pages with resume-reading).
