Title
Senior Full-Stack & Mobile Engineer (React + FastAPI) — iOS/Android
Overview
We’re looking for a senior engineer to build, optimize, and scale a property-management web application and deliver native-quality mobile apps for iOS and Android. You’ll take ownership end-to-end: architecture, performance, security, release pipelines, and ongoing product development.
Responsibilities
• Build and maintain the web app (admin + owner/tenant portals) using React/TypeScript.
• Design and implement backend services using FastAPI (Python) and REST APIs.
• Integrate and optimize data layer (e.g.,)
• PostgreSQL/Supabase/PostgREST or equivalent).
•Develop mobile apps for iOS + Android using React Native (preferred) or Flutter/native, including:
• Authentication
• Push notifications
• Offline/poor-network handling
• App store releases
• Performance optimization:
• Diagnose “pending/hanging” requests, timeouts, long queries
• Reduce API latency, optimize database queries, improve caching
• Implement security best practices (RBAC, token auth, secure storage, auditability).
• Set up and maintain CI/CD (web + backend + mobile), environment management, and monitoring/logging.
• Collaborate with product/design, propose improvements, and ship iteratively.
Must-have skills
• Strong experience with React + TypeScript (production apps).
• Strong backend experience with Python + FastAPI (or equivalent modern backend framework).
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and query optimization.
Proven experience delivering mobile apps to App Store + Google Play (React Native preferred).
• Experience with auth, role-based permissions, and secure API design.
• Strong debugging skills across frontend/backend/network layers.
• Nice-to-have
• Supabase expertise (Auth/Storage/PostgREST), or similar platform.
• Observability: Sentry, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Grafana, etc.
• Experience with multi-tenant systems, property/tenant workflows, and admin dashboards.
• Experience with background jobs/queues (Celery/RQ/Sidekiq equivalents).
• Deliverables / Success criteria
• Web app stable, fast, and maintainable (clear architecture, tests, logging).
• Mobile apps shipped and maintained with a reliable release process.
• API performance improved (timeouts handled, fast endpoints, optimized DB access).
• Clean developer experience (env setup, docs, CI/CD).
