Power Apps-based Inspection Digitization

We are looking to digitize our inspection workflow through a custom application built with Power Apps. The goal is to enable inspectors to complete inspections entirely from their mobile devices or tablets without relying on paper forms. The app should allow users to open structured digital forms tailored to our inspection process. Inspectors must be able to capture and upload photos directly from their device camera or select images from their gallery. The application should also support manual data entry for observations, measurements, and other required fields. All collected information must be securely stored in SharePoint as a centralized record. Each inspection should generate a structured and traceable entry in the system. Upon completion of an inspection, the system must automatically create a PDF report. The generated report should include inspection details, written observations, recorded values, and embedded photographic evidence. The solution may use Power Automate to handle the PDF generation and workflow automation. The app should include basic validation rules to ensure required fields are completed correctly. A historical view must be available so users can review and filter past inspections. The interface should be intuitive and optimized for field use to ensure efficiency. Image uploads should be handled in a way that does not slow down the app’s performance. After delivering the first version, we will test the full process and request minor refinements before final approval.
