Modernize Web App UI/UX
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Our production web application works, but it no longer feels contemporary. I want the entire front-end refreshed—both the visual layer and the way users move through it.
Scope of work
1. User Interface
• Redesign the overall layout so screens breathe better on both desktop and mobile.
• Replace and streamline navigation components for quicker orientation.
• Introduce a cohesive color palette and typography system that matches current brand guidelines while feeling fresh.
2. User Experience
My main goal is a “modernized” experience: cleaner flows, faster perceived performance, and an interface that remains usable with keyboard and screen-reader support. You are welcome to recommend specific UX tweaks once you review the existing codebase and analytics.
Deliverables
• High-fidelity mock-ups for key screens.
• Component-based front-end code (React, Vue, or similar—open to your suggestion) integrated into the current project repo.
• Style guide detailing colors, font scales, and reusable UI patterns.
• Final build deployed to our staging server, fully tested across modern browsers and common mobile devices.
Acceptance criteria
• All primary pages achieve a Lighthouse performance score of 90+.
• Navigation is operable via keyboard alone and meets WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
• No visual regression on legacy features after merge.
I will provide the existing code, design assets, and access to the staging environment once we start. Let me know which framework you prefer and share a sample of a similar modernization you have completed.
