Mobile Joystick & UI Integration
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a Unity-based mobile game that already contains roughly twenty-three character animations and the shell of three UI pages. What I now need is for you to wire everything together so the prototype can finally be played on a phone.
Here is the current state and what I expect from you:
• Controls
– Replace the placeholder input with a responsive virtual joystick so the player can move and aim comfortably on touchscreens. No tilt or swipe systems are required—only the virtual stick.
• Multiplayer-ready structure
– Structure the scene and prefabs so I can drop Photon Engine networking on top for 5-versus-5, three-capture-flag wins. To make testing easier, a single-player “1 v 0” scene must also run from one file with all gameplay logic active.
• UI polish
– Complete the three screens that are already stubbed in: a Start Game screen, a Leaderboard screen, and a Settings overlay limited to toggling music and SFX on/off. Hook them to the scene loader and player-prefs so settings persist between sessions.
• Visual pass
– Apply colour, lighting, and basic textures throughout the environment and characters, bringing the grey-box level up to presentable alpha quality. I’m not after final art, just a cohesive look that allows gameplay footage to be captured.
Deliverables (acceptance criteria)
1. Unity project folder ready to open, build, and deploy to Android and iOS.
2. “Gameplay.unity” scene that runs 1 v 0 locally and contains network-ready hooks for future Photon integration.
3. Functional virtual joystick prefab integrated with the player controller.
4. Fully linked Start Game, Leaderboard, and Settings (audio toggle) UI.
5. Basic colour, lighting, and textures applied with no pink/missing materials.
