Mobile Game UI/UX Design Overhaul

Job ID: 39841013

Budget: $200 – $300 USD

Project Overview

We’re developing a mobile idle/tycoon game called Fry & Candy Empire, currently in active development. The core gameplay and screens are already built, and we have a working set of UI elements and layouts. However, we need a talented UI/UX designer to take our visual design and user flow to the next level—making the game feel polished, modern, and addictive to play.

We will provide:
- Current screen designs (layouts + elements)
- Reference game(s) for inspiration
- The existing game build (for context)

Your role is to reimagine and refine our UI/UX, then prepare everything so it’s developer-ready for integration.

Responsibilities:

- Review our existing screens and UI elements.
- Upgrade and redesign the interface with strong visual polish, hierarchy, and style consistency.
- Ensure UX flows are intuitive, smooth, and engaging for mobile players.
- Deliver final designs broken down into a developer-ready format (exported assets, guidelines, style sheets, etc.).
- Take inspiration from the reference game we provide, but make ours look even better and unique to our brand.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure designs match our vibe and game theme.

Ideal Candidate:

- Proven experience designing mobile game UI/UX (portfolio required).
- Strong grasp of color theory, typography, iconography, and usability.
- Ability to provide design system files that developers can easily implement (Figma, XD, or similar).
- Creative eye for fun, engaging, and dopamine-triggering design.

Bonus: Familiarity with idle/tycoon games or casual mobile game interfaces.

Deliverables:

- Redesigned UI screens (all game menus, buttons, overlays, icons, etc.)
- Exported asset files (PNG/SVG + source design files in Figma/Adobe XD/Sketch)
- Developer handoff package (with spacing, fonts, and color codes clearly documented)
- Suggestions for animations/micro-interactions that enhance UX

How to Apply:

Please include in your proposal:

- Your portfolio (especially mobile game UI/UX work).
- Brief description of your process for taking existing designs and upgrading them.
- Estimated timeline and cost.

Our goal: a polished, addictive, and player-friendly interface that feels professional and exciting, ready to plug directly into our mobile game build.
