Gamified UI Redesign for Educational Platform
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
Project: Redesign educational platform UI for a more engaging, gamified feel
About the platform:
- Online exam preparation platform for students (ages 11-18)
- Students purchase courses, take practice exams, track progress
- Built in Next.js/React with Tailwind CSS (you'll deliver designs, we handle code)
The problem:
- Current design feels generic and corporate
- Doesn't appeal to our student audience
- Want a more fun, engaging feel similar to Duolingo - gamified but not childish
What we need designed:
- Student dashboard (progress, streaks, course cards, recent results)
- Course listing and course detail pages
- Exam-taking interface
- Results/review pages
- Navigation for logged-in students vs public pages
Design direction:
- Playful but mature enough for high schoolers
- Gamification elements (streaks, progress rings, achievements)
- Clean, bold typography with good visual hierarchy
- We're open to color palette suggestions (exploring green/mint or blue/orange)
Deliverables:
- Figma mockups for key pages (desktop + mobile)
- Component style guide (buttons, cards, inputs, etc.)
- Color palette and typography recommendations
Provide in your proposal:
- Relevant portfolio examples (education, gamification, or youth-focused)
- Your design process and timeline estimate
