Enhance Announcements Feed Experience
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a fresh set of expert eyes on our General Announcements feed (see the current version here: https://www.freelancer.com/groups/general-announcements/feed/377769/comments).
Your mission is to review what exists, spot quick wins, and map out the next steps that will make the feed clearer, more engaging, and easier to maintain.
Core objectives
• Audit the current layout, navigation flow, and performance.
• Recommend design tweaks that modernize the look while staying consistent with Freelancer’s overall style.
• Suggest new feature ideas that keep conversations lively and on-topic (think smarter notifications, better sorting, or lightweight moderation tools).
• Outline a simple content framework so important announcements stand out and low-value chatter doesn’t bury them.
Deliverables
1. A concise audit report highlighting pain points and fast fixes.
2. Wireframes or visual mock-ups for key screens (desktop and mobile).
3. A prioritized action list with estimated effort for each item.
If you can also handle front-end implementation (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or advise on back-end tweaks, let me know—that’s a plus, not a requirement.
I value clear communication, practical ideas, and solutions I can roll out in stages. Please include examples of similar community or news-style feeds you’ve improved, and outline how you’d tackle the first week of work.
