Dog rescue Gaming Prototype
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I’m building a bite-sized, proof-of-concept for my mobile game and need a playable prototype that works on both iOS and Android. The scope is intentionally tight: one adoptable dog on the Home screen, one “Care” action, and a reward pop-up driven by a simple progress bar.
Here’s the flow I want to see:
• Home Screen – Loads a dog image and short bio. I’ll supply a photo and copy, but you may need to polish or supplement them with new art so everything feels cohesive.
• Gameplay – Tapping a single “Feed” (or similar) button counts as caring for the dog. Each tap nudges a progress bar forward.
• Reward Moment – When the bar reaches 100 %, a modal pops up saying: “Goal Met! Supplies earned via Chewy Canada.” The bar then resets so the loop can repeat.
Key deliverables
• Clickable build or high-fidelity prototype (Unity, Figma, ProtoPie—use whichever you’re fastest with). It must run on both major mobile platforms.
• One looping 2D animation of the dog that plays during the interaction.
• Clean, intuitive UI/UX; no strict brand guide here, so feel free to explore a playful, pet-friendly look that still feels professional.
Acceptance criteria
1. Prototype installs or opens on iOS and Android devices without crashes.
2. The three core screens/interactions above function exactly as described and copy is pixel-perfect.
3. Art assets you create are original or properly licensed.
If this sounds like a fun, quick project for you, let’s discuss timelines and the best toolchain to get this in testers’ hands.
