We are hiring a UI/UX designer to design TheGradStory, a career platform built for students and job seekers. The designer will be responsible for turning a complex product idea into a simple, intuitive, and visually strong user experience.
The product has multiple interconnected modules, so the designer must be able to think in systems, not just individual screens. The work will involve defining user flows, structuring information clearly, designing wireframes, and preparing high-fidelity UI for key screens.
Responsibilities
Understand the full product journey and convert it into clear user flows
Design wireframes for all major pages and states
Create clean and usable UI for web and responsive layouts
Design the dashboard experience so it stays simple and uncluttered
Build intuitive flows for signup, onboarding, and CV upload
Design job search, job detail, and apply flow screens
Create UX for ATS check, CV builder, and cover letter builder
Design interview prep, counselling, notifications, and support pages
Handle empty states, error states, loading states, and success states
Work closely with the team to improve usability and product logic
Make sure the design is scalable and consistent across the platform
Required Skills
Strong UI/UX design experience
Ability to design complex product flows
Good understanding of information architecture
Experience with wireframing and prototyping
Strong visual design sense
Experience designing dashboard-based or platform products
Good understanding of responsive design
Comfort working with Figma or similar tools
