UI/UX Designer for Financial Platform
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am building a GCC-focused financial data and analytics platform that combines the usability of Yahoo Finance, the regional data depth of Argaam, and the professional feel of Bloomberg/S&P Capital IQ. The goal is to create a modern, clean, and analyst-friendly interface covering all GCC markets: Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
I am looking for a UI/UX designer with financial platform experience to develop high-fidelity layouts or clickable prototypes (Figma or Adobe XD preferred) based on structured inputs I will provide.
Scope of Work – Pages to Design
The shortlisted designer will create modern UI layouts for the following modules:
Home Dashboard
GCC market indices, macroeconomic tiles, top gainers/losers, structured like Argaam but more professional and cleaner.
Company Profile Page
With tabs: Overview, Financials, Ownership, Dividends, Disclosures, Analyst Consensus.
IPO Monitor
Timeline and table for upcoming, ongoing, and past IPOs with drill-down profile screen.
Sector Explorer
Peer comparison table across GCC, valuation ratios, heatmaps, and sector performance visual structure.
Macro Dashboard
Real GDP, CPI, FX reserves, oil overlays, formatted in clean tiles and comparative charts across GCC countries.
Watchlist & Alerts UI
Interface for creating alerts such as price triggers, filings, or ownership changes.
Live Market Prices Board
Real-time pricing table similar to Argaam’s price board but with a more efficient layout.
Commodities Dashboard
Oil, gas, gold prices with option to overlay against GCC markets or sectors.
Financial Data Table Layout System
Clean table structure for ratios, financial statements, analyst targets, ownership breakdown with proper spacing, typography, and export-ready formatting.
What I Will Provide
A Word document with full feature breakdown, workflow logic, and module descriptions.
An Excel sheet showing how platforms like Argaam display financial data and how I want it improved (column logic, ratio structuring, row hierarchy).
Reference screenshots and walkthrough of what to improve versus current regional platforms.
Direct feedback and guidance on financial hierarchy, table priority, and data consumption logic based on GCC analyst workflows.
What I Expect from You
Experience designing financial dashboards, market data portals, stock analysis tools, or trading platforms.
Ability to produce clean, well-structured layouts without clutter.
Focus on professional data density and analyst-ready UX, not mobile-friendly promotional styles.
Deliverables in Figma or Adobe XD, properly layered and logically grouped for development handover.
Consistent style system: typography, spacing, cards, ratio tables, chart containers, button placements.
Additional Preference (Not Mandatory but a Plus)
Previous work on platforms involving market data, trading dashboards, investment research tools, or macroeconomic charting.
Understanding of how financial analysts read ratios, ownership tables, and disclosures.
Ability to include or suggest chart module containers similar to TradingView layouts or Bloomberg web terminals.
To Apply
Please send:
Samples or screenshots of financial dashboards or data-heavy platforms you have designed.
Confirmation that you can work with structured input (Word + Excel system blueprint).
Estimated timeframe for delivery of first design concept.
Let me know if you want me to generate:
A shorter version for public posting
A premium version to target only top-tier freelancers
Or a screening question set to filter out low-quality bidders
