UI UX Designer (Shopify Theme Customization – Figma Only)

Job Overview
We are developing a Shopify website and already have a paid Shopify theme selected. We are looking for an experienced UI UX designer who can create a clean, modern visual design and Figma prototype based on this theme.
The initial scope includes Homepage, Collection page, Product Detail page, and Header/Footer design in Figma.
This role is design only. No Shopify development or coding is required. Our in-house development team will implement the final design you provide.
Responsibilities
• Review our selected Shopify theme and understand its structure
• Create a high-quality Figma prototype that defines:
o Color scheme
o Typography and font pairings
o Spacing, layout, and visual hierarchy
o Buttons, cards, sections, and UI components
• Improve the overall look and feel to make the site visually appealing, consistent, and professional
• Ensure the design is practical and easy for Shopify developers to implement
• Provide design files and assets clearly organized for handoff
Requirements
• Proven experience as a UI UX Designer or Visual Designer
• Strong portfolio showing web or e-commerce designs
• Experience designing for Shopify stores or Shopify themes (very important)
• Proficiency in Figma
• Strong sense of color, typography, and layout
• Ability to work from an existing theme rather than designing from scratch
• Clear communication and ability to take feedback
Nice to Have
• Experience redesigning or improving existing Shopify themes
• Understanding of Shopify theme limitations and best practices
• Experience working with development teams for design handoff

• Figma design files (desktop and mobile)
• Defined color palette and typography styles
• Component and section designs ready for development handoff
