Ui/Ux Designer
Budget: $80 – $100 USD
Summary
Ui/Ux Designer — Savvy Loans Conversion Rate Optimisation • Figma • Wireframing & Journey PlanningAbout Savvy Loans
Savvy Loans is a fast-scaling US consumer fintech lender headquartered in Dallas, Texas. We're the US arm of Fundo Loans — Australia's 5th fastest-growing company in 2022, with $250M+ lent and 246,000+ loans serviced before exit. We're now rebuilding that playbook for the US market with an initial US$5M credit line and aggressive growth plans. We move fast, ship fast, and measure everything. Every dollar of customer acquisition needs to convert harder. That's where you come in.The Role
We're hiring a CRO Designer to own the design and continuous optimisation of the entire Savvy Loans customer journey — from first ad click through application, funding decision, repayment, and re-engagement.This is not a brand or marketing-collateral role. This is a conversion-obsessed product/UX role for a designer who lives in Figma, thinks like a growth marketer, and treats every screen as a hypothesis to be tested. What You'll Own
End-to-end funnel design — landing pages, application flows, approval/decline screens, customer dashboards, repayment journeys, lifecycle email/SMS
Wireframes & prototypes — low-fidelity flow planning through to high-fidelity, click-through Figma prototypes
A/B test design — frame the hypothesis, design the variants, iterate based on results
Design system — build and maintain the Savvy Loans component library, tokens, and patterns in Figma
Conversion strategy partner — work directly with the Head of Marketing, lead-gen partners, and engineering to translate funnel data into design decisions
Day-to-Day
Map and redesign existing customer journeys to lift conversion at every step
Build wireframes and clickable prototypes for new flows, features, and campaigns
Run design reviews with marketing, product, credit, and exec stakeholders
Plan and prioritise the design roadmap alongside marketing and engineering
Translate quantitative data (GA4, Hotjar, funnel analytics, lead-gen reports) and qualitative research into clear design decisions
Own design QA against engineering builds — pixel and behaviour
Spec compliance disclosures cleanly so they read well and convert well
Must-Have Skills
4+ years of CRO-focused product/UX design — fintech, SaaS, e-commerce, or D2C
Expert Figma — components, auto-layout, variables, interactive prototypes, design systems. You should be one of the strongest Figma operators we interview.
Proven conversion lift — you can walk us through specific funnels you've improved and the metrics that moved
Strong wireframing & IA — you plan the flow before you decorate it
Fluent in CRO methodology — hypothesis design, A/B test setup, funnel analytics, behavioural heuristics, accessibility
Data-comfortable — you can read heatmaps, session recordings, GA reports, and funnel data without needing it pre-digested
Mobile-first instincts — the majority of our traffic is mobile and that's where the conversion fight is won or lost
Bonus Points
Experience designing for regulated US consumer financial products (lending, credit, BNPL, payments)
Familiarity with state-by-state lending disclosure requirements
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS to spec cleanly to engineering
Experience with VWO, Optimizely, Hotjar, FullStory, Mixpanel, or similar
Comfort working closely with copywriters or owning microcopy yourself
