UI/UX Designer
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
Looking for a fully remote, part-time, but permanent position where you can leverage your UI and UX design skills?
Expatfile is looking for an eager UI/UX Designer to assist in the design evolution of our digital ecosystem. In this role, you will act as the bridge between brand identity, marketing strategy, and core product utility. You aren't just making things look pretty — you are designing for clarity, conversion, and confidence.
Core Responsibilities
-Product experience: Partner with Product and Engineering to audit and refine user journeys. You will simplify data-heavy workflows and optimize high-stakes conversion funnels where every pixel impacts user trust.
-Design systems: Maintain and scale a comprehensive Figma library. You will provide the "single source of truth" that allows our development team to implement designs with speed and pixel-perfect consistency.
-Brand stewardship: Define and enforce visual consistency across the platform, marketing site, and all external touchpoints to ensure a unified brand presence.
-Information architecture: Optimize the UX of our content ecosystem to improve searchability, content discovery, and the transition between marketing and functional platform environments.
-Marketing collaboration: Support the marketing team in producing high-fidelity assets, landing pages, and communication materials that align with the core product identity.
-Strategic prototyping: Build high-fidelity prototypes to test logic and flow before moving into production.
Required Skills & Experience
-Portfolio: A track record in SaaS or FinTech or other data-heavy platforms is mandatory.
-Mobile (native) UI / UX design: Requires proven expertise in designing seamless user experiences for both native mobile applications and web platforms.
-Figma mastery: Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, prototyping and sophisticated design system management. Your files are as organized as your designs.
-Visual logic: A refined eye for typography and layout, coupled with the ability to translate complex logic into intuitive, high-trust user interfaces.
-Agile collaboration: Proven experience working as a partner to Product Managers and Marketing leads in a fast-paced environment.
-Familiarity with motion design tools (like Rive) and experience with A/B testing methodologies are a strong plus.
-Experience with motion design (Rive), data-driven design iteration is a plus.
-Applicants should provide a portfolio of their existing work.
