UI Design for 'DON: Rise of the Empire' Game
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I saw your work and I think your style would be a perfect fit for a game I am developing called DON: The Rise of the Empire. It is an 80s-era crime empire simulation RPG being built in Unreal Engine 5.
The project is highly systems-driven, featuring a complex game economy, crew management, property ownership, and branching dialogue. I have already built and locked down the heavy backend C++ systems, and now I need a talented designer to construct the front-end User Widgets!
Compensation Options:
I am looking to fill this role under one of the following structures:
Hourly: $18/hr for 3 hours a week over 3 months.
Long-term: $2,000 paid over 6 months + 3% Net Revenue Share.
To protect the project, I operate on a strict, professional onboarding workflow:
NDA: We sign a standard project Non-Disclosure Agreement (which will include the chosen pay terms).
Briefing & Dummy Project: Once signed, I will hand over a highly detailed document explaining the visual needs of the UI. I will also give you a completely blank "practice" project in Unreal Engine.
The Work: This practice project contains the "Blueprint Interface" list of empty functions. All you have to do is build the UI art and layouts in Unreal, and hook up your buttons to those empty function boxes! You will never have to see my source code, and I get clean visual assets dropped into my live game.
Let me know if you are interested in taking on this contract, which payment option you prefer, and where I can send the free e-sign link for the NDA!
