Corporate Energy Platform UX Revamp

Job ID: 40232656

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I’m refreshing the end-to-end experience of an energy-focused investment platform and need a UX/UI specialist who can turn complex market data into an interface that keeps professionals actively engaged. Our core metric is user engagement, so the screens must invite exploration rather than just present information.

Here’s what matters most to me:
• Interactive charts and graphs that let users slice, drill, and compare assets without leaving the main flow.
• Personalized dashboards that remember preferences, surface relevant news, and highlight portfolio movements the moment someone logs in.
• A look and feel that stays firmly corporate and professional—clean lines, measured colour accents, and typography that holds up in boardroom presentations.

You’ll start by mapping the current user journeys (web first, then mobile-responsive), propose wireframes, evolve them into polished visuals, and wrap everything in a reusable component library. Figma is our preferred space for collaboration, but Sketch or Adobe XD work if that’s where you’re fastest.

Deliverables I’d like to walk away with:
1. Low- to high-fidelity prototypes covering all key flows (onboarding, research, transact, track).
2. A lightweight design system: colours, type, grid, component variants, and interaction states.
3. Developer-ready hand-off files with clear annotations and asset exports.

If you have a portfolio that proves you can turn financial or data-heavy products into intuitive, engaging tools, I’d love to review it and discuss timelines as soon as you’re available.

We are seeking a skilled UX/UI designer to create high-fidelity designs for our energy-based investment platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in user experience and interface design, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work. The project involves designing two intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that enhance user engagement and simplify investment processes. One for retail investors: energy based investment platform and second for firms : Firms profitability and revenue analysis .If you have a passion for creating seamless user experiences and a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.

I am looking for an experienced UX/UI designer to design a modern, intuitive, and data-driven dashboard interface.

The final design will be handed to a full-stack development team for implementation.

Core Modules to Design

1. Energy Market Trend Dashboard
Sections for:
Crude Oil price trend
Natural Gas price trend
Electricity / Coal index
Must include:
Interactive charts
Trend indicators
Clean macro summary section

2. Policy & Geopolitical Impact Scoring Panel
This is a key differentiator.
The dashboard should allow display of:
Trending policy changes
Geopolitical news/events
Leader comments affecting energy markets
Each item should have:

Impact Score (0–10 scale)
Example:
OPEC production cut → 8/10 impact
Sanctions on gas exports → 9/10 impact
Policy reform → 6/10 impact
Visual display ideas:
Impact bars
Heat indicators
Severity meter
Designer should propose intuitive visualization for impact scoring.

3. Sector Impact Mapping
Show how energy price movements affect different sectors.
Features:
Sector heatmap
Color-coded impact levels
Hover tooltips explaining logic
Clear differentiation between positive/negative impact

Users can:
Select sectors
OR
Create a model portfolio focused on energy-related stocks
System displays:
Expected sensitivity to energy price movements
Risk level
Potential future profit opportunity indicator (visualized clearly)
This is educational insight, not financial advice.

5. User Login + Portfolio Upload Impact Analysis
Once user logs in and uploads portfolio:
Dashboard should show:
✔ Current energy exposure
✔ Sensitivity to rising/falling energy prices
✔ Present impact

Cost of Goods Sold
Operating profit
Profit margins
Generate multiple scenarios (e.g., +5%, +10%, –5% energy price ( Crude Oil WTI/Brentt, Gas Price )

Needs:
Clean data visualization
Exposure meter (Low / Medium / High)
Breakdown by sector
Design Expectations
Modern SaaS financial dashboard
Clean and professional
Data-first design
Strong information hierarchy
Clear impact visualization (scores, meters, heatmaps)
Responsive (desktop first, mobile adaptive)

Deliverables
UX wireframes (low fidelity)
High-fidelity UI design
