E-Commerce Site Feature & UI Upgrade

I have already built a fully functional e-commerce website with an admin panel that handles user authentication, product management, order workflows and secure REST-style APIs using modern web technologies. The next milestone is to enrich the product with new capabilities and polish the customer-facing experience.

What I need now is help adding new features (we can finalise the exact list together) while simultaneously tightening up the front-end presentation. Two priorities are clear: improved UI/UX design and responsive layout adjustments so the store feels equally smooth on desktop, tablet and mobile.

Typical tasks will include
• planning and integrating at least one new feature module (for example a wishlist, product reviews or advanced search filters) from database through to UI
• refactoring or extending components to follow best practices, keep performance snappy and maintain code readability
• re-working screens, colours, spacing and interactions for a cleaner, more intuitive customer journey
• auditing breakpoints, flex/grid rules and touch targets to eliminate any remaining responsive quirks

The stack is already in place—modern JS front-end with a Node-based backend and a document database—so you should be comfortable diving straight into React (or similar), Express, MongoDB and Git-based workflows.

Clean, well-commented code and incremental Git commits will be the acceptance criteria. I am happy to screen-share, discuss architecture decisions and provide quick feedback so we can move fast.
