Classic Responsive Portfolio Website
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I want a single–page portfolio site that feels classic and elegant while still looking fresh on every screen size. You’ll start by crafting the UI/UX in Figma, then translate that design into pixel-perfect HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The build has to be fully responsive, load quickly, and include the smooth, subtle animations that give a polished first impression.
Core section
• About Me – this is the only mandatory section for now, but please keep the codebase modular so that a Project Showcase or Contact Form can be dropped in later without a rebuild.
Look & feel
Think refined typography, balanced white space, and an understated colour palette that lets portfolio imagery stand out. I’m aiming for a “classic and elegant” vibe rather than minimalist or boldly colourful.
Technical expectations
– Semantic, well-commented HTML5
– Modern, organised SCSS/CSS (BEM or similar)
– Vanilla JS or lightweight framework of your choice for interactions
– Optimised assets and lazy loading so Lighthouse scores stay high
– Clear folder structure so future edits are straightforward
Deliverables
1. Figma source file with reusable components
2. Production-ready code packaged for easy deployment
3. Short read-me explaining build tools and update steps
Send over two or three links to recent, comparable sites you’ve built so I can see your touch with UI detail and performance. I’m ready to move quickly once I find the right fit.
